An illustration, not advice

This shows standard deadlines from HMRC, Companies House and Charity Commission guidance on GOV.UK at 27 October 2026. HMRC confirms a company's Corporation Tax accounting periods by letter, and your own Companies House and Charity Commission records show your exact dates. It assumes a company is not large enough to pay Corporation Tax in instalments and has not changed its year end. It does not cover payroll, partnerships, a director's own Self Assessment return, or Scottish and Northern Irish charities. Charitable companies may also have a Corporation Tax return to file. For charity income bands, use our charity filing deadline calculator.
